Oh yeah

Mimi wrote some new posts for me, so don't forget to check them out. There's also one about the Fourth of July, and Mimi fixed the pictures from Emily's blessing.

When Mimi Takes Over My Blog Something Actually Gets Posted.

This weekend, Danny, Rachel, Emily, Jeffrey, Mimi, and Jill came to visit Phil and I. One of the activities we enjoyed was the Renaissance Festival on Saturday (well, the Colletts stayed at the house). Here are Dan, Rachel, and Emily in their authentic garb!
Here's Emily. Just because she's so good lookin'.
Kate and Owen were up here for one evening as well. She drove up with Dan and Rachel and then spent the next morning with us as well, on her way to visit with a friend. Owen and Emily tried out Amy's and Mimi's chairs from when they were the wee lil tots in the house (Mom's note: A different house). I think they look pretty good.
I caught a picture of Mimi and Jill this morning. Don't they look sweet? I think it is cute how they are holding onto each other.

Fourth of July

My four granddaughters and their parents came to visit me this Fourth of July. Look at them in their matching dresses (courtesy of Mindee—thank you, Mindee!). I think they are just darling. Don't you?

From left to right: Annibelle, Hallie, and Emily. Then Jill is on Hallie's lap.

They are all within a year and a half of each other, so it is going to be fun to watch them grow up together! Hallie's mommy is pregnant right now too, so we're all on pins and needles to find out whether she will have a boy or a girl!!

While the babies had their photo shoot, the adults enjoyed many games of croquet. (Although if you ask Dad, it might be crochet, and if you ask Dan, it might be cricket.) *snicker*

Here is Annibelle saying, "No paparazzi please!!"

Emily is in that stage where she is . . . well . . . hungry. Hehe. She just has to put everything within in her mouth—she wants to taste everything. The world is her oyster, and she's gonna eat it dag gum it!

Unfortunately for Annibelle, the closest thing at that moment was Annibelle's elbow. Yum yum! What a tasty cousin. Err. I mean "treat." ;)

Of course, as the Grandma I do not encourage cannibalism, but I do have to take a picture first, because it's too darn cute!!

Me with my beautiful daughter, Amy!

Why are my words underlined?

I think I will go to bed now. I don't want to underline everything. Maybe tomorrow I will figure out what's happining to my words. Night Night.

Baking Cookies

I'm going down to visit the Indy peeps tomorrow.  So tonight I am baking a double batch of oatmeal raisin cookies.  I fixed a few meals big enough to leave left-overs.  I guess dad won't starve while I'm gone.
I still want to write more stuff about my life but I just don't ..... I have a writer's block the size of the Empire State Building with King Kong on top.
buzzer...got to take cookies out!  By By Now
